About the Author

Juliet Eden was born in the Rhondda Valleys into a family of artists and creative people.

Her grandmother would write children’s stories and draw pictures, sharing them with her grandchildren. Her mother is a good painter who would sell a painting to pay for household bills whenever money was tight. Her father was creative with metal, and would make little trains, while Juliet’s brother often crafted wood into bowls or vases. Growing up there were always canvases and paint at hand, and creativity was encouraged over tidiness.

Following in her great great grandfather’s footsteps, Juliet went on to have a successful career as a photographer.

When photography work dried up, Juliet turned to aesthetics and used her artistic skills with dermal filler or microblading to, in her words, ‘make people’s faces prettier’. After Covid, she decided to pivot and try her hand at writing a book, reinventing herself yet again, this time as an author.

Today, Juliet lives with her husband Nick by the seaside in Barry Island. They own a camper van and spend their time travelling and exploring the UK.
